Tia Ellies, Link UP lead teacher

Tia is an elementary music teacher currently teaching grades K-5 music in the Greenway Public School district and instructs a private piano studio after school. She earned her B.A. in Music and B.S. in Music Education from Bemidji State University and received an Orff Schulwerk certification from the University of St. Thomas graduate program where she is currently pursuing a Master's of Music Education degree. 

Tia is greatly inspired with Link Up programming and is enthusiastic to see it continue to inspire quality music education, musical experience and music appreciation for the rural students of the greater Itasca community in the coming season!

When not teaching music in school or in the studio, Tia enjoys good food, good company, house projects, staying active & being in the outdoors hiking, skiing, kayaking and enjoying the best each season has to offer!
