2015 IOSP Summer Jazz Camp -Registration 2015 Scholarship Application 2015
The IOSP Summer Jazz Camp is a day camp designed for strings players with a classical, folk, or bluegrass background who have at least three years prior experience with a stringed instrument. Each day of the camp will include instruction and ensemble with optional opportunities to observe and participate in jam sessions in the evenings. The week will culminate in a showcase concert at the Itasca Community College Davies Theater that will be open to the public. Students will perform on stage with the highly taltented teaching artists: internationally acclaimed jazz violinist, Tim Kiphuis, Grand Rapids' jazz guitarist, Sam Miltich, and cellist Martha Larson.
